The Inter-Dimensional Shift Device, or IDS Device, is a glove created by Professor Fitz Quadwrangle as part of Project Shift. It is black in color and has five buttons on the top part of the glove, four for controlling dimensions as well as a power button.

Levels in Quantum Conundrum require using the IDS Glove to shift between dimensions to solve puzzles and progress through Quadwrangle Manor. The player is given the glove when they reach the Great Hall, near the start of the game.
Which dimensions the glove can activate depend on what IDS Batteries are currently installed in the IDS Receptacle area.
